💼 About the Role
As a Junior Solutions Engineer at Murphy, you will support the technical success of our clients by assisting in onboarding, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation. You’ll learn to translate client goals into technical plans, collaborate with engineering and product, and deliver solutions with speed and clarity. This role is ideal for someone early in their technical career who wants to grow into a high-impact Solutions Engineer within a fast-moving AI startup.
📝 Responsibilities
Client Success Support
- Assist in onboarding new clients and supporting their initial configuration.
- Translate simple business requirements into product configurations and basic workflows.
- Help maintain client documentation, guides, and internal notes.
- Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication.
Technical Problem Solving
- Troubleshoot technical issues, escalating to senior engineers when needed.
- Analyze client usage data to identify simple issues or optimization opportunities.
- Learn to build and maintain solution designs and integration documentation.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Coordinate with product, engineering, and operations on client requests.
- Keep stakeholders informed of progress on tasks and small projects.
- Ensure fast execution and a high bar for quality in daily operations.
Growth Support
- Identify small upsell opportunities or usage improvements.
- Support GTM with research, notes, and technical details for client conversations.
📚 Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in technical roles (internships, projects, or entry-level jobs count).
- Engineering, data, or technical background (junior level, internship, or equivalent experience).
- Strong foundational problem-solving skills and willingness to learn quickly.
- Clear communication and basic project coordination skills.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to understand how the product works.
- Fluent English, Spanish and other languages are a plus.
- Bonus: exposure to AI, fintech, or technical products (not required).
- This role involves occasional short trips to the UK and other European destinations to visit clients, so availability for travel is required.

You’ll meet the Hiring Manager and potentially another team member. This is a more technical discussion where we explore your skills in detail, walk through real scenarios, and answer any questions you might have about the role.
3️⃣ Tech Assessment or Business Case
A practical exercise to see how you approach challenges similar to those you’d tackle at Murphy. You’ll have time to reflect and showcase your thinking—no rush, no surprises.
4️⃣ Coffee at the Office with the Founders
