💼 About the Role
As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive our growth with large enterprise customers. You will work directly with the CEO to shape and execute our enterprise sales strategy. Beyond closing key deals, you will help lay the foundations of Revenue Operations (RevOps) and work closely with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to manage timelines and align expectations for prospective customers.
This is not a pure hunting role. While you will engage new customers, the focus will be on developing strategic relationships, structuring repeatable processes, and ensuring smooth delivery for enterprise clients.
📝 Responsibilities
- Strategic Enterprise Sales: Own and execute end-to-end sales cycles with enterprise customers (banks, fintechs, and other regulated organizations), including executive presentations, demos, proposal creation, and negotiation of large contracts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to:
- Align on client expectations and project timelines.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of AI solutions.
- Provide feedback from the market to influence product roadmap and feature prioritization.
- Revenue Operations & Process Building: Help define, implement, and maintain the first RevOps processes, including CRM hygiene, forecasting, reporting, pipeline management, and sales playbooks.
- Account Development: Identify opportunities to expand within existing accounts, uncover new business needs, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, innovation leaders, and procurement teams; manage multiple stakeholders throughout complex sales cycles.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy: Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments in fintech and banking to inform Murphy’s sales strategy.
- Hands-On Execution: Participate directly in client meetings, RFPs, contract negotiations, and deal structuring while simultaneously contributing to strategic initiatives for scalable sales growth.
- Metrics & Accountability: Take ownership of KPIs and revenue targets, reporting progress, challenges, and insights to the CEO and leadership team.
- CEO Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to define sales strategy, prioritize key accounts, and make strategic decisions that impact company growth.
📚 Requirements
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 3 years closing seven-figure deals.
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Technical background: Previous experience working in tech companies or a strong understanding of technology and software solutions.
- Proven track record selling into large banks, fintechs, or regulated enterprises.
- Strong network and credibility in financial services.
- Experience in complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset: ability to balance immediate deal execution with building scalable sales processes.
- Hands-on mentality, comfortable working in a startup environment and wearing multiple hats.
- Collaborative: experience working closely with Product, Technology, and Operations to deliver on commitments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Native English speaker; Spanish is a plus.

- AI / Fintech familiarity: Experience with AI, machine learning, or fintech platforms.
